Future Outdoor Swimming Pool Moves One Step Closer
The project for the outdoor swimming pool on the roof of MANUFAKTURE has reached an important milestone. The selection procedure for a partner responsible for the design, financing, construction and management of the pool will soon be launched. The appointment of this partner is expected in 2028. If the current planning is respected, construction works could begin in 2029. The office of State Secretary Ms. Ans Persoons is overseeing the follow-up of this swimming pool project.
With this initiative, the realization of a permanent outdoor swimming facility in Brussels moves one step closer. At present, Brussels residents do not have access to a fixed outdoor swimming pool.
