Opnieuw een A-certificaat voor onze slachthuizen

The British REtail Consortium, BRC in short, has worked out an important quality certification programme regarding improved safety and control of consumer products, the so-called BRC Global Standards, a worldwide standard for food safety.

Amongst other issues, these standards formulate a number of criteria (more than 300)

companies have to abide by if they want to obtain the coveted certificate. We hereby give a short overview per category:
- management involvement and sustained improvement
- the food safety plan (HACCP-system)
- the food safety and quality management system
- criteria for the interior of the location
- product management
- process management
- staff


We, at Abatan, are proud to have renewed once again our A-certificate, and we would like to congratulate and thank everybody involved in our slaughterhouse activities.
